US and Asian print and electronic media have reported our work, including the Chronicle of Higher Education, Reuters, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Asia Magazine, National Geographic, CNN, and CNBC.
Lead stories have included:
- first use of the Internet to save a life in China
- first US-China telemedical consultation via the Internet, conducted by Secretary of State Madeleine Albright
- delivery of more than half of China's foreign language college books
We have presented papers at conferences in the US and Asia, including meetings of Internet authorities in China, annual meetings of the Internet Society and an Internet conference in Leipzig, among many others.
