Bridge to Asia: Book and Journal Donation Program

Up-to-date libraries are not the only resources that universities need, but they can be provided in the near term and begin to produce benefits almost immediately.

To determine the books and journals that are wanted, we consult with ministries and institutions in the countries. To mobilize donations, we use innovative strategies in the United States:

appeals through mass mailings and the Internet
book drives on college campuses
regional drives in the Bay Area and Midwest
local collection at the donor's location, when quantities justify costs

Finally, to deliver books to teachers and students at hundreds of universities, we coordinate with trusted in-county partners.
